California and Nevada, one of the biggest ski resorts in the country. Close by, Squaw Valley draws beginner and experts skiers alike. Experience the open bowl skiing at this resort, a bit untraditional, but tons of fun.
On the north of the lake, Alpine Meadows shines in the Sierra Nevada sun, attracting many, more of a secret than the rest. Alpine Meadows traditionally brags the earliest and longest season. Great bowl skiing for experts and an area just by the base lodge for first-timers. Also more quiet and a bit harder to get to, Kirkwood features the best snow at Tahoe and classic steep shoots.
